Eggs are a widely popular protein source, however, egg production required significant natural resources. Our organization aimed to substitute chicken eggs with plant-based alternatives, which would lead to reduced environmental impact during the egg production process.
We began exploring alternative protein sources to develop a plant-based egg formula, with a focus on utilizing local resources. During our research, we came across rice bran protein as a potential candidate.
Our value proposition of using a hydrolyzed protein that has functional properties and high protein content similar to that of chicken eggs. Rice bran is a byproduct of the rice milling process. Using rice bran as a protein source can help reduce waste and the number of natural resources used.
